A set of elements for self-assembly of the Google AIY Voicerecognitiondevice. The device is based onRaspberry Pi Zero WHminicomputer, which is included in the set, andTensorFlowmachine learning. Google Voice Kit can be connected toGoogle Assistantorthe Speech-to-Text cloud. No soldering required.
Elements needed to get started with the Google AIY Voice Kit
To start the installation and operation of the Google AIY Voice Kit, you need to equip yourself with a 2 mm flat-head screwdriver, a microUSB power supply with 5 V and a min performance. 2.1 A and a WiFi connection. There are two options to connect the kit: using an Android smartphone or a computer with a monitor and keyboard.
- Option with a smartphone:
- Android smartphone,
- computer running Windows, Mac or Linux.
- Option without a smartphone:
- Computer running Windows, Mac or Linux,
- mouse,
- keyboard,
- monitor or TV (any size) with HDMI input,
- HDMIcable andminiHDMI adapter,
- an adapterfor connecting a mouse and a keyboard.

AIY Voice Bonnet overlay
Voice Bonnet is a GPIO Raspberry Pi overlay that has a built-in dedicated microcontroller with the following features:
- Control four additional GPIO pins, releasing GPIO Raspberry Pi pins for other applications.
- PWM support for motor/server control, without loading the Raspberry Pi CPU.
- Analog input supported by built-in ADC converter.
- Two LEDs control.
