Product description: Liquid flow sensor brass 30l/min - thread 1/2''.
A simple sensor to measure the flow of liquids. It consists of a fan with a magnet and Hall sensors. By counting the pulses of the windmill you can easily measure the liquid flow. Thanks to this method, the electronic part of the sensor has no contact with water.
The device has three wires:
- red- Supply voltage from 5 V to 18 V
- black- mass
- Yellow- pulse output
By counting the pulses you can easily track the flow of the liquid. Each pulse is about 2 ml. Note that this is not a sensor for precision measurements. However, it is ideal for hobby applications where no more than 10% precision is required.
Product compatible with Arduino and Raspberry Pi The manufacturer provides a sample program for Arduino with a wiring diagram. Project is availableon GitHub website. |
