Jokari - company history
The Jokari brand was founded in 1949 by the Krampe family. Initially, it ran a small electrical and electronic parts store, but just a few years later, in 1957, Josef Krampe, one of the company's founders, developed and patented an elaborate wire stripper, which was a fully automatic solution that allowed for easy and fast work. The popularity of the created knife made Josef decide to start mass production of his constantly improved models. In 1983, the family store was closed and the focus was on developing the range of insulation pullers. Just a year later, the production line was improved by expanding it and creating an injection molding station.
