The ACS724 current sensor module from Pololu offers precise current measurement in the range from -30 A to 30 A , thanks to the use of technology based on the Hall effect . One of the characteristic features of this sensor is its low internal resistance of approximately 1.2 mΩ , which ensures minimal power loss. Additionally, electrical isolation up to 2.4 kV RMS allows the module to be safely used in various environments and applications that require galvanic separation. The module generates an analog output voltage proportional to the input current - 66 mV / A for a supply voltage of 5 V and operates in a wide operating temperature range from -40°C to 150°C .

Current sensor pins
- IP+ (positive current input) : pin intended for connection to the positive side of the circuit, through which current flows, in order to monitor it.
- IP- (negative current input) : a pin intended to be connected to the negative side of a circuit through which current flows for the purpose of monitoring it.
- VCC (logic power supply) : used to connect the supply voltage for the current sensor measurement system. The supply voltage should be between 4.5 V and 5.5 V.
- OUT : output of the system from which an analog voltage proportional to the measured current is read. This signal can be further processed or used for direct current monitoring.
- GND : system ground.
