Product description: Gravity - GR10-30 gesture sensor - UART, I2C - DFRobot SEN0561
The Gravity GR10-30 gesture sensor module, produced by DFRobot, is a great alternative to classic buttons or touch screens. It can recognize as many as 12 different gestures , including: up, down, left, right, forward, backward, clockwise and counterclockwise, continuous rotation in both directions, hovering in place and waving . The sensor's operating range is up to 30 cm . Communication with the microcontroller can take place via the UART or I2C interface, and the maximum baud rate is 9600. The libraries created by the manufacturer to support the module allow you to change parameters such as: gesture detection distance, minimum rotation angle, etc.
Connecting the Gravity GR10-30 sensor
The Gravity GR10-30 sensor module connects to a microcontroller or minicomputer via a 4-pin Gravity JST PH2.0 cable included in the set. The user has two popular serial communication interfaces at their disposal: UART and I2C . The choice between them is made using the switch on the board. The supply voltage can range from 3.3 V to 5 V.
The manufacturer provides ready-made libraries that facilitate the use of the sensor, available for the Arduino and Raspberry Pi platforms.
Product compatible with Arduino and Raspberry Pi!
The manufacturer provides a user guide and a library for Arduino or Raspberry Pi users!
