In the Korad programmable laboratory power supply, the voltage can be smoothly adjusted in the range from 0 V to 60 V and the current in the range from 0 A to 5 A. The device has a USB and RS232 / RS485 interface . The power supply is non-stop cooled by a fan whose speed depends on the load. Thanks to the readable displays , you can easily observe the parameters and the rubber handle allows you to conveniently carry the device. The KKG series power supplies are linear power supplies.

The main functions of the power supply:

    • C. V. - DC voltage of output

  • The system is equipped with protection from surges and overloadsHas two kinds of protection:
    • OVP (overvoltage protection)
    • OCP (overcurrent protection)
  • The PSU has a 5 storages to save current, voltage and operation modes
  • Has the accuracy of indications of the current up to 3 decimal places
  • Equipped with a digital screen display showing all functions used
  • Cooled by a built-in fan
  • It has a rubber handle for convenient carrying
  • For communication, it uses the RS232/RS485 and USB interface

    Question: Hello Is this power supply based on a transformer like KORAD KD6005P? How does it differ from it?
    Answer: The KKG605P is a linear power supply with electronic voltage variation, unlike the KD6005P, but both are linear power supplies.

    Very many improvements from the early KA3005D that died for me. TheKKG605 is quiet at low loads. I really like the AUTO mode that makes on the fly adjustments easy and intuitive. The adjustment position stays instead of reverting to a default position. I can begin very fine adjustments in the 10mV range and come back later still adjusting that fine. The only thing I find bad is the documentation/ user manual and the remote control software. 1.) It is delivered on a CD, a very obsolete media and not possible to find for download. 2.) It is only for PC. I do not own a PC or have access to a CD drive. 3.) The description for using the remote sense and other inputs on the connector on the rear panel is very unclear. I which there were an additional setting/function related to the five preset memories. Now for safety reasons. when you select another memory the output is switched off. Normally that is good but sometimes it would be useful to jump between settings without passing OFF. Such a setting can be dangerous so it has to be a bit complex to activate and preferably reset to normal when the device is powered down.

    A significant step forward compared to the KA models (like KA3005). Significantly improved control properties (smaller overshoots and undershoots during load changes, faster control) Plus many improvements in the user interface, quieter and nicer fan sound, compatible in programming with the KA series. I also really like the green LED display.
