Description
The device is usedto measure the soil moisturebythe capacitive detection. It has a built involtage regulatorwhich provides an operating voltage in the rangefrom 3.3 V to 5 V. Compared tothe resistance sensors,capacitive sensorsdo not require directexposure of metal electrodes,which can significantlyreduce the erosion of the electrodes.

It is important to remember that this sensor can onlyaccurately check the humidity of the soiland cannotmeasure quantitatively. It means that when the soil moistureincreases, the output value decreases and vice versa, when the humidity decreases, the output value becomes higher.
