Product description: Raspberry Pi microcontroller - RP2350A - 7'' Reel - SC1509
The RP2350A is a modern microcontroller from the RP235x series, which debuted in August 2024 on the Raspberry Pi Pico 2 board. Since then, it has found wide application in both projects developed by Raspberry Pi and solutions created by technology partners. Compared to its predecessor, the RP2040 , it offers a significant increase in performance thanks to the use of two Arm Cortex M33 cores , which provide higher computing power and better energy efficiency. Additionally, the system is equipped with two RISC-V Hazard3 cores , which increases parallel processing capabilities. A system clock of up to 150 MHz and 520 KB of RAM (more than twice as much as in the RP2040) make the microcontroller great at handling more demanding tasks. The RP2350A also has 8 KB of OTP memory and the advanced Arm TrustZone security system, enabling isolated data processing. The additional PIO core allows for programming of custom peripheral interfaces. With these features, the RP2350A is ideal for both hobby projects and industrial applications requiring computational performance and low power consumption.
