Sonoff Basic R2 - remote control of heating and lighting power supply
The Sonoff Basic R2 relay allows you to control the switching on and off of home electrical appliances powered by 230 V, whose rated power consumption does not exceed 2200 W. The manufacturer has prepared a special smartphone application with which you can program the relay to turn the power supply on and off according to the time schedule you specify. The application required for remote operation of the Sonoff Basic R2 relay is available for both Android and Apple iOS devices.
Principle of operation of the relay
The miniature electromagnetic relay built into the Sonoff Basic R2 module is an intermediary element between two circuits. In such a relay, by controlling the coil with a TTL level voltage (+5 V), the controlled device circuit is closed. Using such a relay, you can turn on and off the 230 V power supply for heating, lighting and other devices with a rated power consumption of up to 2200 W.
