ZigBee connectivity
The ZigBee protocol operates at 2.4 GHz, which provides excellent signal propagation in built-up areas . Thanks to MESH technology, each ZigBee device with full power (L+N) acts as a signal repeater for other devices. This means that if the sensor is too far from the ZigBee gateway, it can connect to another ZigBee device within range that has a connection to the gateway. ZigBee is characterized by a fast response time , allowing connection to the control panel in 0.2 seconds after a state change, which is much faster than in the case of WiFi networks.
