ZigBee technology is a communication standard that allows several devices to connect at the same time. It enables the creation of a smart home and makes it easier to control it, e.g. by switching on an alarm signal or lighting based on a temperature and humidity sensor when the previously specified optimal range is exceeded. The mesh topology ensures stable communication between the central unit and individual elements of the system, because each receiver is also a transmitter. Damage to one device does not result in the entire network stopping.
