Minicomputer Sparky with a powerful processorARM Cortex A9 quad-core 32-bit 1.1 GHz. The board has1GB of DDR3 RAM, built-inGigabit Ethernet port, HDMI 2.0 1080p/60 Hz, 2 x USB 2.0, 1 x USB 3.0 ports, 40 GPIOconnector for amicroSD card, IR receiver, eMMC connectorand50-pin telecom. It works with Linux or Android. The device is compatible withextensions for the Raspberry Pi
The device has 2x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.0 port, HDMI port, Ethernet port, and many others.
How to run Sparky?
- microSD card or eMMC- drive on which the is an operating system installed
- AC adapter:
- 5 V / 2 Afor the minicomputer
- 5 V / 3 A - for the minicomputer with an attached extensions
- Case - protects minicomputer from the influence of external conditions
- HDMI cable- to connect the device to the monitor
- Mouse and keyboardfor control and input data into the device
- Connected Internet - to download the software
The device does not play sound. It is necessary to adda special extension. |
Operating system
Sparky works with Linux and Android. The drive device may be a microSD card or a Flash memory eMMC 5.0 HS400.

Communication
Sparky has the main communication interfaces, which can be found in PCs. The user has at his disposal:
- two USB 2.0 ports,which can connect, for example, a mouse, a keyboard, a wi-fi card or USB flash drive. If you find that there are too few slots, you can increase their number usingan external USB HUB.
- one USB 3.0 port that allows a higher transfer speed than earlier version of the port
- Ethernet connector, that is the ability to directly connect to the network.
- 40 x pin GPIO that can be used to control the LEDs, buttons, drivers, engines. Among them are the pins supporting interfaces: I2C, SPI and UART. Compatible with extensions for Raspberry
- slot for microSDslot for memory cards microSD, which can be installed with the operating system.
Sparky has a connector formemory cards microSD,on the back of the board. Card not included, can be purchased separately.
Power supply
As a power source the system uses the microUSB connector. The manufacturer recommends that the voltage indicated on the plug has a value of 5.0 and a maximum output current of the used adapter shall not be less than 2.0 A. In our offer you will finda special power supply.
Sparky has aHDMI port through which you can pass as image and sound in 1080p resolution.
