The first profession of the Goofoo team was prototyping light shades. After realizing that the 3D printer they used was insufficient, they decided to build their own device. The first printer of this Chinese company turned out to be successful, so the group quickly changed its main production to rapid prototyping devices. Goofoo focuses on performance and accuracy, using FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling) technology in its printers. Thanks to CNC milled, solid aluminum frame design, construction of Goofoo devices is stable and resistant to vibrations. The motion system uses linear guides that provide more accuracy and reduces mechanical losses. The dedicated hot end comes in two versions: very high and lower temperature options. Thanks to the high-heat version, Goofoo printers enable its users to use professional engineering materials such as ULTEM, with temperature up to 400C.
