Product description: Air pressure sensor MCP-H10-B200KPPN -Unit expansion module for M5Stack development modules
The sensor allows to measure air pressure in a closed circuit in the range from -100 kPa to 200 kPa. Measurement accuracy is 1,5 kPa. Module is equipped with integrated piezoresistive pressure sensor with wide temperature compensation. The element, in the form of a Unit-type extension, has a protective casing, which ensures long-term stability of operation and resistance to damage. Additionally, it also has two LEGO-compatible mounting holes.
A detailed user's guide is available on the manufacturer's website. It significantly facilitates getting started with the module. You can find there a sample program code for Arduino IDE and a block diagram for UIFlow.
Interpretation of measurements
Sensor from M5Stack allows you to measure the pressure of air in a closed circuit, such as a tube. The output value is the voltage given in V, which corresponds to the pressure value. The relationship is expressed by the formula
P = ((Vout - 0.1 V) / 3 x 300) - 100
Example:
Vout = 2 V
P = ((2 V - 0,1 V) / 3 x 300) - 100 = 90 kPa
