Description
The sensor is used to measure accelerations in three axes. It is a module with a 3D accelerometer MMA7361L fromFreescale. The output data is sent to the central unit in an analogue form. Outputs are popular goldpin connectors, which allow to connect the sensor by wires or directly to the contactplate.
Accelerometers with built-in voltage regulator MMA7361L operatinginthe range of 1.5G or 6G and MMA7341L - 3G or 11G are also available in our shop.

Queries
A 2.2V to 16V power supply is connected to the VIN.
Pins X, Y and Z arethe analogue outputs of the respective accelerometer axis. The outputs are centred at half the voltage of the 3V3 pin. Positive acceleration causes an increase and negative voltage drop.
The g-Select sensitivity selection pinisinternally pulled to ground, which sets the default range at:
- +/-1.5G (800mv/G) for MMA7361L
- +/-3G (440 mV/G) for MMA7341L.
The high state changes the range to:
- +/-6G (206 mV/G) for MMA7361L.
- +/-11g (118 mV/G) for MMA7341L.
Pin0g-Detect isin high state when all three axes detect 0 G.
The PinSelfTest isinternally pulled to ground. Its connection is not required for proper module operation. Seedocumentationfor details.
Attention! The SelfTest and g-Select pins do not work with 5V! |
Dimensions
