Product description: Yodo - 25 projects for JS Spark
The Yodo set is designed for children over12years old. It teaches primarily programming in JavaScript through play. The set consists of many parts and elements, which allow to create many interesting projects. The main element is theJSspark board, which is the heart of all created projects. To the Iskra board is attached the Troika Shield expansion board. The casing and fixtures for created devices and robots is #Struktor. The #Structor is a board made of specially treated PVC in the shape of a grid. It can be easily cut out with a knife in any shape. It serves as a casing for the created projects. The kit includes a book for learning theory and creating practical projects, as well as a remote control powered by 1CR2032 3 Vbattery(included), which sends infrared signals.
JS spark
The main board is theJSSpark, which is responsible for programming in JavaScript. It is powered by amicroUSBcable, which also connects the board to the computer. The JS spark also has a 5.5 x 2.1 mmDC socket for power. The JS spark operates at168 MHz,has a built-in32-bitARM Cortex-M4 mini-computer and1 MB Flashmemory and192 kB RAM. The board's operating voltage is 3.3 V and 5 V.
The JS sparkis compatible with ArduinoUno R3standard,Arduino modules and expansion cards can be used for it. To use the board you need to install EspruinoWeb IDE.
The colorful book included in the kit helps you to understand more, thanks to the pictures and photos included in it. You can easily and quickly learn JavaScriptthrougha minimum of theory and a maximum of practice. The book contains as many as 25 sample projects together with schematics and program codes.

JavaScript Programming Training Kit
In learning programming for children the rule always works: the sooner, the better. That's why educational kits are being launched on the market to make the first steps in programming or electronics as easy as possible for young electronics adepts. Yodo is a very successful project from this group.
The heart of the Yodo set - 25 projects for Iskra JS is the Arduino compatible Iskra JS board. It is equipped with 32-bit microcontroller with ARM Cortex-M4 core, 192 kB RAM and 1 MB Flash memory, as well as a miniUSB socket and a 5.5 / 2.1 mm DC connector.
25 finished projects to be implemented
The Yodo kit also includes a second board, marked Troika Shield and equipped with a number of connectors, enabling the connection of additional external modules - such as (also available in the set): ultrasonic distance sensor, light sensor, thermometer, LED, buzzer or potentiometer.
Together with the electronic elements, young Yodo users receive a booklet with descriptions and instructions for building 25 simple device projects. They can then program them in JavaScript using the dedicated Espruino Web IDE environment.
