Product description: WisBlock IO extension module - Rak Wireless RAK1920
IOextension module equipped with twomicroBUSinputs, twoSeeed Groveinputs and oneSparkFuninput with Qwiic connector. Allows for expansion of WisBlock projects with additionalperipherals, including those from outside the series. It allows integration of sensors produced by Mikroe, SparkFun, SeeedStudio and others. The extension is compatible with WisBlockBase Boardand WisBlockCoredevelopment modules.

WisBlock System Composition.WisBlock Series
TheWisBlockseries modules are a solution created byRak Wireless. They allow to createcomplex IoT projects, which can be used both in advanced scenarios and basic projects. The WisBlock system includes: WisBlockBase Board, WisBlockCoredeveloper module, WisBlockSensorsand WisBlockIO expansionmodules. They are used not only for rapid deployment of engineering prototypes, but are also designed to create massive applications ready for industrial deployment.
WisBlock IO Extensions
WisBlock IOmodules allow to extend designs with additional interfaces, sensors and communication extensions. They also enable connection of modules outside of the WisBlock series. These include keypads, buttons and displays, third party sensors (e.g. Seeed Grove, SparkFun Qwiic, 1 Click!), communication modules with LTE NB-IoT, WiFi, Bluetooth and NFC or alternative PoE power supplies. They require connection to theWisBlock Coredeveloper module andWisBlock Base Boardto work properly. They are assembled according to the schematic shown in the photo opposite. Before starting, make sure that the module isproperly attached.
