OpenMV Cam H7 R2 is a board produced by SparkFun and features two key components - the STM32H7 microcontroller and the OpenMV Cam H7 R2 image sensor camera MT9M114. The module is low-power and efficient, enabling easy deployment of real-world machine vision applications. The advantage of the module is that it can be upgraded according to individual needs - for professional machine vision applications you can use the Global Shutter Camera Module and for thermal imaging applications you can use the FLIR Lepton adapter module.
OpenMV Cam H7 R2 - overview
The OpenMV Cam H7 R2 module is programmed in Python (MicroPython), which greatly facilitates processing the complex output of machine vision algorithms and working with high-level data structures. OpenMV is the ideal choice for applications including frame differencing, face detection, color and tag tracking, QR code detection/decoding, shape detection, image capture, and more.
