Product description: Capacitive touch sensor Trill Flex - Grove - Bela
Trill Flex is a flexible, capacitive touch sensor. It consists of two elements: a board with a Trill sensor and a connector and a flexible capacitive touch sensor . Thanks to its flexibility, Trill Flex can be used on any unevenness and curvature, giving you the freedom to create designs with a touch surface of virtually any shape. Trill Flex has a flexible, single-axis sensor that detects multiple touches. The board has a Grove connector for connection to the Bela system, breadboard or microcontroller. The sensor for communication uses the I2C interface, so it can be used with popular boards, such as, for example, Arduino and Raspberry Pi.
The product is compatible with Arduino
The manufacturer provides a detailed user manual and library for Arduino .
What is Trill?
Trill is a family of touch sensors that appeared on Kickstarter in 2019 . Trill sensors use capacitive touch technology, inspired by the way we use our hands to interact with the world. Trill was designed for Bel, but it is compatible with any platform that supports I2C communication, such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, Teensy and others. The Trill library with examples (including GUI-based visualizations) was prepared for the tiles. Libraries and samples for other platforms are available in the GitHub repository .
