SwitchBot Curtain U Rail 2 is an intelligent robot that is designed to remotely control curtains placed on a U-rail. The robot is attached to the rail with hooks, thanks to which it is able to move on the rail and cover or uncover the curtains. Despite its small size, it is able to affect the level of light in the room, allows you to ensure privacy and safety of the user at any time of the day or night. The robot uses a Bluetooth chip for communication, thanks to which it can be controlled from the application for mobile devices. The SwitchBot Curtain U Rail 2 robot can be operated using an easy-to-use application for Android and iOS mobile devices. The installation process of the SwitchBot Curtain U Rail 2 takes only 30 seconds and requires no additional tools.

The main features of the SwitchBot robot
- Convenient design of the robot - the robot is equipped with practical hooks, with which it can move along the U-shaped rail. The curtains will move smoothly every time, without sudden blocking.
- Two working modes :
- efficiency mode - the robot works at a higher speed, but with a slightly higher noise level, this mode is ideal for everyday use during the day.
- silent mode - the robot moves slower, but with a lower noise level, this mode is perfect in the morning when you want to wake up slowly.
- Built-in light sensor - allows you to set the automation based on the intensity of light surrounding the SwitchBot Curtain. This allows the robot to be programmed to close the curtains at night and open them at sunrise.
- It allows you to save energy - open the curtains to warm the room with natural sunlight and cover it to block the access of light and keep it cool on a hot day.
- Work according to schedule - in the robot's application, you can set the exact date and time at which the robot should open or close the curtains. It is possible to create 5 schedules on the device or an infinite number using SwtichBot Hub Mini (sold separately).
- Suitable for U-rail - SwitchBot Curtain U Rail 2 works with almost any U-rail. Before use, check the dimensions of the rail installed in your home.
- Allows you to control double-sided curtains - if you have double-sided curtains, it is recommended to use two SwitchBot Curtain U Rail 2 devices. This will allow you to freely control and simultaneously reveal two curtains from the inside.
- Great strength - the robot is able to lift and move curtains weighing up to 8 kg.
- Long battery life - the robot is equipped with a battery that is able to work up to 8 months on a single charge. The battery can also be charged using a solar panel (sold separately).
Many control options
- App control - control your curtains from anywhere in your home with the SwitchBot app. The application works via Bluetooth within a range of up to 80 meters.
- It detects human touch - after mounting the robot on the curtain rod, you can still manually control the curtains. When SwitchBot detects that you pull the curtain more than 5 cm, it will automatically do the rest of the work for you (you can disable this feature at any time in the app).
- Remote control - SwitchBot Remote is an add-on (sold separately) that allows you to control the curtain from anywhere in the house.
- Ability to operate away from home - the robot in conjunction with the SwitchBot Mini Hub (sold separately) can be controlled remotely while away from home.
- Control with assistants - the robot, using the SwitchBot Mini Hub, can be controlled by voice commands, using such assistants as Google Home, Amazon Alexa and Siri.
