Description
Module with 2 Mpx camera and wi-fi ESP8266 system - Arduino-compatible. The device allows, for example, for transmission of video over HTTP or websocket protocol. The module is equipped with a power system and may be powered using rechargeable battery.
The device consists of two modules:
They can be used both separately and together |
First run
-
Download and install the Arduino IDE version 1.6.8 from:www.arduino.cc
-
Start the Arduino IDE, select"File" - > "Settings"
- In place Additional URLS for the Manager of a board, specify:
hhttp://www.arducam.com/downloads/ESP8266_UNO/package_ArduCAM_index.json - SelectTools -> Board -> Manager of boards
- Install the module ArduCam_ESP8266_Uno (probably at the bottom of the list)
Description of programming of the board using theArduino IDEcan be found inthe user guide. Examples of programs are available after you install the libraries directly from the Arduino IDE. |
Sample programs
-
ArduCAM_Mini_OV2640_Capture (or ArduCAM_Mini_OV5642_Capture)- allows you to create a site using the HTTP Protocol, which displays the image from ArduCam (camera ArduCam can be purchased separately).
-
ArduCAM_Mini_OV2640_Capture2SD (or ArduCAM_Mini_ OV5642_Capture2SD)- allows you to save pictures taken with the camera on the microSD memory card (the camera ArduCamoraz and the memory card can be purchased separately).
- ArduCAM_Mini_OV2640_Video2SD (or ArduCAM_Mini_OV5642_Video2SD)- allows to record the video basing on the format JPEG-n on the microSD card in AVI format (the camera ArduCamoraz and the memory card can be purchased separately).
The set includes the camera ArduCAM-Mini-2-V2 and the communication module ArduCAM-ESP8266-Nano.
The module consists of a lens, sensor and electronic component with the data buffer and the controller of the SPI bus. The user has access directly to the sensor via the I2C bus.
