The STE-SOL1 solar tracker is a controller designed for single-axis photovoltaic trackers , which enables precise control of the movement of panels in one axis, for example in the east-west direction. Thanks to this, the installation obtains energy from the sun more efficiently . The controller supports motors powered by voltages ranging from 12 V to 24 V DC, reaching a maximum current of up to 15 A. The set includes an external light sensor that automatically initiates the movement of solar panels . Additionally, the system can be enriched with a wind sensor and safety limit switches. Thanks to easy-to-use buttons and an LCD display , the device configuration is extremely easy.

How does a single-axis photovoltaic tracker controller work?
The STE-SOL1 controller works based on data provided by an external light sensor. After configuration, it periodically monitors the light intensity . If any section of the panel is underexposed, the system automatically adjusts the panels to obtain optimal lighting. In the evening, after the work cycle is complete, the panels return to the starting position, ready for the sunrise . The system also has the ability to search for the brightest points in the sky on cloudy days, which additionally increases energy efficiency.
