Equipped with the SIM7028 module supporting global Cat-NB bands , it provides stable communication thanks to the external SMA antenna . It supports network protocols, has RS485, I2C interfaces and USB and RS485 power supply options. It is suitable for monitoring, remote control or asset tracking. The compact design and rail mounting enable easy integration in industrial environments.

The Atom DTU NB-IoT2 from M5Stack is an advanced data transmission unit (DTU) designed for NB-IoT applications. Equipped with a SIM7028 module, it supports global Cat-NB bands , offering a wide range of applications worldwide. The included AtomS3 Lite controller allows you to customize the module to your individual needs. Thanks to the external SMA antenna, the module provides excellent signal stability and quality. It supports numerous network protocols, including TCP, MQTT, HTTP and TLS , and offers transmission speeds of 127 kb/s (DL) and 159 kb/s (UL). The Atom DTU NB-IoT2 features an open architecture that allows for software modifications and integration with sensors via RS485, I2C or Grov e interfaces. Ideal for low-latency applications such as remote monitoring, telemedicine and asset tracking. The compact dimensions and rail mounting allow for easy installation in industrial environments.

Module connection and compatibility
Atom DTU NB-IoT2 enables easy connection thanks to RS485, I2C and Grove interfaces, which allow integration with sensors and actuators. Communication is via UART at 115200 bps . The module is compatible with AtomS3 , AtomS3 Lite , Atom Matrix and Atom Lite controllers, which provides flexibility in IoT applications and the ability to adapt to various design needs.
