About Okystar

Okystar is a company that specializes in manufacturing electronic components. Its headquarters are located in the Chinese city of Shenzhen. Okystar is a part of Okystar Technology Group Co., Ltd, which employs over 1500 people. The company's origins date back to 2004. In 2006, the organization was among the top Chinese companies specializing in DIY kits. In 2012, Okystar opened a branch office in Venezuela, whose main task was to further expand overseas markets.

Precision sensors from Okystar

The Shenzhen-based company's product range includes sensors designed to work with the Arduino minicomputer. There are sensors capable of detecting rotation both to the left and to the right. In addition, Okystar also offers sensitive sensors that detect sunlight, temperature and humidity sensors, and more.

Extensions for minicomputers

Okystar also offers extensions called overlays for minicomputers. Their main task is to extend the functionality of the base device. Popular are overlays, which allow to connect e.g. Arduino minicomputer to local Wi-Fi network using cable with RJ 45 plug. This type of extensions may also have built-in slot for memory card in micro-SD format. Additional space allows to store much more data.
