Product description: Inkplate 5 - e-paper display 5.2'' 960 x 540 px - ESP32 - Arduino compatible - Soldered 333255
Soldered Inkplate 5 is an advanced module that combines energy efficiency and performance. Equipped with a 5.2'' e-ink (e-paper) display with a high resolution of 960 x 540 px , it provides excellent readability in all conditions, even in full sunlight. Thanks to ESP32 , it offers WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity, which allows easy integration with IoT and wireless applications. The module consumes minimal energy - in deep sleep mode it consumes only 18 µA , which allows for many months of operation on a single battery charge. It supports microSD cards , so you can store and display images directly from external memory. Additional GPIOs and compatibility with the easyC system allow for simple integration with other modules and sensors.

Inkplate 5 Programming
Inkplate 5 can be programmed in Arduino environments and MicroPython , which provides a wide range of applications. The Arduino library is fully compatible with Adafruit GFX , so you can easily display text, images, and geometric shapes. MicroPython allows for rapid prototyping and testing of code. The display is operated via API commands , which allows for easy integration in IoT projects, information displays, or home automation.
easyC system in Soldered Inkplate 5
Inkplate 5 supports the easyC system, which simplifies the connection of sensors and peripheral modules . This is a solution based on I2C communication, allowing for quick and error-free connection of elements using dedicated cables. With easyC, you can expand your projects with additional functions without the need for soldering or complicated wiring.
Examples of display applications
- E-book readers - thanks to e-paper technology, the screen does not strain the eyes and is readable even in full sunlight
- Information boards - can be used as an information panel displaying current news, weather forecast or calendar
- Clocks and schedules - the module allows you to program automatic content updates
- IoT Projects - Ideal for creating IoT devices with low power consumption and a clear display
- Smart Home Control - Thanks to built-in WiFi and Bluetooth, Inkplate 5 can act as an interface for managing Smart Home devices
