Paper displays
E-ink displays, or e-paper in electronics, aren't exactly a new concept. They've been called a variety of things, and today, terms like "screen as a card" or "electronic paper" are no longer surprising. Indeed, e-paper displays gained popularity thanks to the emergence of the first popular devices like the Amazon Kindle. E-paper technology has been a vital part of our lives long before its commercial introduction. E-paper technology is used in devices and industries such as e-readers, weather stations, information boards, broadly defined advertising, IoT solutions, and DIY projects.
Screen like paper
…meaning a screen that's as easy on the eyes as a sheet of paper. Traditional screens damage our eyesight more quickly, while e-paper Inkplate screens offer a number of advantages over those traditionally found in electronics.
