The overlay can be connected to the Raspberry Pi using 40 GPIO connectors or via a 12-pin cable. In either case, connect the display according to the following relationships:

- DIN - MOSI pin of SPI communication interface
- CLK - SCK pin of SPI communication interface
- CS - Chip Select
- DC - data / command select pin
- RST - external RESET pin
- INT - touch controller interrupt pin
- SCL - I2C touch controller clock pin
- SDA - I2C touch controller data pin
- TRST - touch controller RESET pin
