Shelly Plus Add-On is an addition to Shelly Plus series modules, such as Shelly Plus 1 / 1PM , Shelly Plus 2PM , Shelly Plus i4 / i4DC , which expands them with additional input/output ports . You can connect Arduino-compatible modules such as DS18B20 or DHT22 temperature sensors , photoresistors , soil humidity , distance, motion sensors, reed switches and much more to the Shelly Plus Add-On I/O pins. It has three digital inputs and one analog output , as well as a VREF and VREF + R1 output with a pulled-up resistor. The module is powered directly from the Shelly Plus controller.

Shelly Plus Add-On with a wind sensor connected to Shelly Plus 2PM will automatically close the awning after exceeding a given wind speed threshold in order to protect it against damage. Additionally, the addition of Shelly Plus with a rain sensor will allow you to open the roller blind when it starts to rain to cover the guests sitting on the terrace at that time.

Sending notifications
Shelly Add-On combined with two DS18B20 probes will easily measure the water temperature in the aquarium as well as the temperature in the room.
