Product description: u-blox ZED-F9P NEO-D9S Combo Breakout - GNSS correction data receiver - SparkFun SPX-20167
Multi-band GNSS module and GNSS correction data receiver in the L band - a fragment of the spectrum of electromagnetic waves in the range of microwave radiation with frequencies from 1 GHz to 2 GHz. The board consists of two systems - ZED-F9P and NEO-D9S , which are characterized by high precision of measurements and the speed of obtaining information. The use of these two systems eliminates the need for separate RTK or NTRIP corrections. The module allows you to determine the position with an accuracy of a few centimeters within a maximum of 30 seconds. u-blox ZED-F9P NEO-D9S Combo Breakout is also equipped with two USB Type-C connectors, one for ZED-F9P and one for NEO-D9S, which allows you to connect the board to a computer and configure both systems using u-blox u -centre. The dimensions of the board are 43.2 x 63.5 mm.
u-blox ZED-F9P NEO-D9S Combo Breakout is an experimental product from the SparX series. These are advanced solutions that do not go into regular production and are produced in very small quantities. They are tested by SparkFun, but are not supported by SparkFun and are not covered by any warranty. Visit the forum for help or to ask a question about this module.
Satellite measurement technology - what is RTK?
The abbreviation comes from the English term Real Time Kinematic ( RTK GPS) and describes the technology of taking measurements using satellite navigation. The RTK measurement is very precise - it has a centimeter accuracy, and it is obtained in real time (without performing calculations after the measurement in the so-called post-processing). RTK are measurement technologies that are used in many fields, primarily in geodesy and cartography due to the speed of determining the position of the phase center of the satellite antenna of the receiver.
U-blox ZED-F9P NEO-D9S Combo Breakout board connectors
- 2x USB type C connector - separate connectors for ZED-F9P and NEO-D9S
- 2x Qwiic connectors
- Integrated SMA connector for use with selected L1/L2/L band antenna
- Jumpers - LEDs 4x, UART2: TX2-RX2 RX2-TX2, I2C pull-up resistors, USB shield
