Product description: OBD-II CAN-BUS Development Kit
OBD-II CAN-BUS Development Kit for Arduino,Raspberry,Beagleboneand otherminicomputers, allowing toconnect the computer with the vehicle's OBD-II interfaceand perform diagnostics. OBD gives the possibility to access data on thestatus of individual vehicle systems and error readings. The set includes CAN serial bus module and OBD-II interface.
The kitdoes not includea controller.Arduinomodule orminicomputermust be purchased separately. |
The manufacturer has prepared a tutorial based on Arduino, thanks to which you will be able to quickly start diagnostics of your vehicle. First, download the library fromGitHubservice. Then runArduino IDEapplication and open example"obd_demo".
In this exampleD2 is used as RXfor serial software andD3 as TX. Therefore, connectD2 to TXof the serial bus module andD3 to RX. After sending the sketch to Arduino you can connect OBD-II connector to the socket in the car. EnterOBD-PID'sin the serial port monitorafter this action should display the feedback from the vehicle.
