Are you designing an electronic device? It will probably be powered by batteries or accumulators, which must be placed in the right place for the whole device to work. There are special containers for this purpose, also known as holders. They consist of several separate cells, depending on how many batteries you want to power the device. The battery holders also have cable leads or designated areas for independent connection of cables. Battery holders are designed for specific battery types. They differ in size, as do the power supply elements. They are made of materials adapted to specific conditions in which they will work. The holders differ not only in size and number of cells, but also in color and sometimes in shape. Thus, they can be visually adjusted to the appearance of the device. In our offer you can also find battery storage containers, as well as battery stands.

The battery holder is an integral part of the design of the electrical installation and battery-powered device. It is designed to place batteries and conveniently draw electricity from the cells. It is also responsible for supplying energy to specific parts of devices that require it for proper operation and work. The battery holder provides them with stability, enables them to be safely placed in the housing without the risk of moving or changing position. Otherwise, the device would not work properly and there would be a risk of failure or even a dangerous short circuit. The holders must be properly adjusted to the type and quantity of batteries used.
The second type of product in our offer is a container for batteries or accumulators. They are designed to transport and store batteries in order to protect them against adverse external factors and mechanical damage. Holders are made of durable and durable insulating material. Such construction provides effective protection against short circuits, which can occur wherever there is electricity and current.
Which battery holder is right for your project?
Battery and accumulator holders differ in size and sometimes also in design. They are adapted to specific types of power supply elements, which are available in many different variants. In most cases, these are standard AA battery sticks and small sticks, that is AAA batteries. These are the most common types of batteries, which are selected to power electrical devices. However, in the offer of Botland store you will find holders designed for less popular batteries. They include batteries type D or 6F22. In the case of flat batteries, special stands are used, which you can also buy in our store.
The second selection factor is the presence or absence of the lid. Its function is to increase the protection of the battery against accidental falling out and moving in the housing. Moreover, it is also an additional protection against possible influence of undesirable external factors. For some, the presence of a switch will also be an advantage, which depends on the specifics of the project. The holders differ in the number of cells assigned to the cells. There are models adapted to accommodate from one to six batteries. You can also decide whether you want a battery holder that already has the power wires ready or you plan to solder a specific connector yourself. The third variant is a holder adapted for SMD surface mounting.
The correct placement of the battery will be facilitated by marking the position of the battery on the holder, i.e. plus and minus, respectively. This way you can be sure that everyone will always place the batteries in the holder properly. Also, check the color of the holder so that it is visually consistent with the entire installation. In our offer you will find universal black and white colors.
