Description
Digital rangefinder based on used in mobile phones, the VL6180 sensor. The device works at a distance of up to 10 cm, it communicates through I2C bus. The work voltage is 2.8 V, so to connect with chips of 5 V and 3.3 V, required is a voltage converter.
High precision
In contrast to traditional rangefinders, here, the distance is determined basing on the measurement of return time of the reflected from the surface, light beam, what gives you a very good precision and high noise immunity.
The product is compatible with Arduino The manufacturer provides auser manualandlibrary for Arduino. |
