The machine is equipped with a PicadeX Hat USB Ccapcompatible with Raspberry Pi 4B. The device supports previous versions of Raspberry, however a power supplywith USB C plugis required to power it. |
The Picade cap is sold, the RaspberryPimini computer must be purchased separately.
I2S DAC combines both channels of digital audio from Raspberry Pi into one mono output. It then goes through a 3W amplifier to power any connected speaker. The board also has a power switch that allows you to safely turn the Raspberry on and off without damaging the SD card. The manufacturer recommends usingM2.5 spacersto prevent the board from coming into contact with the HDMI port.

What's new?
The Picade game machine is more compact and easier to install, but it also has new features such as a dedicated power button, better cable management on the back of the console with a mounting panel, power supply USB type C and new retro graphics. The new buttons in Picade have a lower profile, while the joystick has a single connector instead of eight.
