Modern microprocessor technology requires power supply from auxiliary voltage sources. Such a solution, present in a growing number of microprocessor systems, guarantees high current efficiency, voltage stability and resistance to interference. It is also an additional protection against disturbances resulting from switching processes in power systems.
The necessity to meet the above tasks requires the use of a cost-effective power technology. It should be based on the use of capacitors with small geometric dimensions, but with a very large electrical capacity.
The solution to the above problem are Low ESR capacitors - electrolytic capacitors that have the appropriate maximum voltage and very large capacity. An important parameter is also the value of the series equivalent resistance, abbreviated as ESR - hence ESR capacitors. See all capacitors below now.
