Product description: PCF8574 - GPIO pins expander - I2C - STEMMA QT / Qwiic - Adafruit 5545
A lead expander by Adafruit equipped with the PCF8574 chip. It has 8 analog I / O GPIO pins , thanks to which it increases the design possibilities of the modules used. It communicates via the I2C bus, has 3 configurable interface addresses. The expander supply voltage is in the range from 3 V to 5 V DC . There are two STEMMA QT / Qwiic connectors and solder pads on the board, to which the goldpin strip should be soldered.

STEMMA QT connector
The expander is equipped with two STEMMA QT connectors, located on the board edges. This standard increases the possibilities of prototyping, significantly speeds up the process of connecting with development boards and a wide range of other sensors. All this is done without the need for soldering and only with the use of a suitable cable.
