Overlay for Arduino extending the module with FPGA functionswith Xilinx Spartan.On the board there is alsoESP32chip enabling communication viaWiFi and Bluetooth, as well as 8-bit ADC, 6-axis accelerometer and gyroscope, two RGB diodes, miniHDMI, twoCSIcamera connectors and Grove interface.The module can also work as an independent device.
Spartan Edge Accelerator Board is based onXilinix Spartan-7 XCS7S15 FPGAchip with a clock clock clocked at 100 MHz, has 360 kB of RAM memory. It is equipped with 10 I/O pins, which include such interfaces as PWM, I2C, I2S, UART, SPI. The ESP32 supports 2.4 GHz 802.11 b/g/n WiFi communication and Bluetooth 4.1 BLE. The manufacturer prepared ArduinoFPGA API forsimple FPGA control by Arduino IDE. The module can be powered by 5V from USB type C, through VIN connectors from 8V to 17V or from Arduino 5V.
