SenseCAP S1000 V2 is an advanced all-in-one weather sensor that provides precise measurements of ten different environmental parameters . Thanks to its versatility, it allows monitoring air temperature , relative humidity , barometric pressure , light intensity and precipitation (thanks to the use of optical technology). Additionally, the sensor measures wind speed and direction using ultrasonic sensors, as well as the concentration levels of PM2.5, PM10 and CO2. The device operates in a wide temperature range from -40°C to 85°C and has IP66 protection , which makes the sensor resistant to water, dust and temperature fluctuations. It is also compatible with RS485 and SDI-12 communication protocols, which enable easy integration with various environmental monitoring and management systems.

Modbus RTU RS485 and SDI-12 communication protocols

RS485 is a data transmission standard enabling serial communication over long distances and in difficult environmental conditions . It is often used in industrial systems due to its ability to maintain reliable communication even in the presence of electromagnetic interference.

SDI-12 is an interface standard for connecting microprocessors with environmental sensors, where the number "12" means 1200 baud, i.e. the data transmission speed. It is particularly popular in environmental monitoring applications because it allows multiple sensors to be connected to a single data recording device simply and efficiently .
