USB power supply is recommended when the sensor must work in extreme temperature or humidity conditions. The use of the USB adapteralso allows for continuous data measurement, as opposed to battery power, where measurements were taken every few hours or when a button was pressed.
Replacing the adapter requires no soldering, just remove the battery and replace the bottom part of the H & T sensor with the adapter. In the settings in the sensor application, activate the External Power Suplly item by clicking Enable. Once completed, the sensor will read data every 10 minutes or so.
