M5Stack Basic Core is the basic module of the Core series. It is a modular development platform based onESP-32controller. It is equipped with wireless communication moduleWi-FiandBluetooth16 MBFlash memory, memory card slot, built-in loudspeaker, 3 programmable buttons and2"TFT 320 x 240 px display. To connect the extensions use theGPIOconnectors of the included Bottom pad or Grove connector.

What makes Core modules stand out
Core series is the most advanced series of modules manufactured by M5Stack. It allows you to easily create systems using multiple sensors and extensions without the knowledge of electronics and creating your own circuits.M5Stackprovides a lot of extensions to its modules, these are mainly ready-made solutions that require only aGrovecable or compatible connectors at the bottom of the device to form a kind of stack or small turret, this way of connection is often called stacking. The Basic kit is equipped with aUSB-Ccable for powering and programming the device, connection cables and a basic Bottom cap containing GPIO connectors, and aLi-Ionbattery making the device fully mobile.
Programming of Core series modules
For programming the module we can use a graphical programming environment prepared for M5Stack modules, i.e.UIFlow, where we can also usePythonand Arduino IDE. To work with the device you will also need a program that enables installation of software for the modules, in this case it is best to use dedicated solutions such asM5BurnerorEasy Loader.
Applications for the module
The module can be successfully used as anIoTterminal or as aself-madeintelligent home project. It will also work well as aneducational platformfor people who are just beginning their adventure with programming and building their own systems. On the Internet you can also find manyready-made projects, which can be easily done by yourself.
