Product description: DC Power BFF Add-On - power supply module with 5V converter - for QT Py and Xiao - Adafruit 5882
Adafruit DC Power BFF is a compact shield that allows you to power QT Py or Xiao boards with up to 20 V DC . Thanks to the built-in MPM3610 converter, it effectively converts the input voltage to a stable 5 V , without the need for radiators. The module provides up to 1 A , which is enough to power LEDs , WiFi modules , displays or small motors . The module has universal connectors: 3.5 mm screw and 2.1 mm DC socket, protected by a Schottky diode . For stable mounting of the QT Py board, the set includes sockets for easy integration with the project.

Special Features
- Higher voltage power supply: allows you to power your QT Py or Xiao boards from 5V to 20V DC, ideal for projects that require more power flexibility
- Built-in MPM3610 converter: advanced buck converter transforms input voltage to stable 5V, ensuring reliability and energy efficiency
- High current support: The maximum output current is 1A, which allows you to power a variety of components such as LEDs, WiFi modules or small motors.
- Universal Connectors: Equipped with a 3.5mm screw connector and a 2.1mm DC jack, making it easy to connect to various power sources
- Power Protection: Schottky diode protects the circuit from accidental short circuits or reverse polarity
