Special features of the module
- Angled JST SH connector . It is divided into 3 lines, which correspond respectively as: power supply - 3 V, system ground - GND, data line of the I2C bus - IO4 (SDA) and clock line of the I2C bus - IO5 (SCL).
- MicroSD memory card slot . Connected to SPI pins 16, 18, 19 and card selection on pin 17. An optional card sense line can be connected to pin 15.
- PCF8523 chip . It is responsible for the RTC real-time clock powered by a CR1220 coin cell battery , which then enables data recording with accurate timestamps. It uses the I2C bus.
- Reset button . One press is all it takes to restart the program.
- Solder pads in the form of gold-plated pads significantly facilitate soldering. In addition, some of the leads are doubled, which increases the design possibilities
