Description
Yun is the connections of the Arduino Leonardo, controllerAtherosAR9331 and the service of wi-fi.The board contains an ATmega32u4 microcontroller with 20 digital inputs/outputs, 7 of which can be used as PWM outputs (e.g. for motor control) and 12 as analog inputs. The system works with the signal ticking with the frequency of 16 MHz, has 32K Flash memory and 2.5 KB RAM SRAM.
With the help of AVR system along with the library Bridge accessible from the level of the environment Arduino IDE Arduino Yun can be in a simple way, wirelessly, via wi-fi network, programmed, configured or status of I/O can be modified and read. After connecting the power supply (5 V viapower supply unitwith micro USB connector) the module is visible on PC as a wi-fi network with the name Arduino Yun. |
The subject of the sale is the original product for Arduino, Botland isthe official distributor of this company.

Key features
Below are a few features that distinguish modules Arduino compared to other programmable tiles.
Name | Description |
---|---|
Installed bootloader |
Thanks to bootloader, for unit programming, the necessary are only the appropriatemicro usb cableandthe software from the manufacturer's website. |
Connection Wi-fi |
Arduino Yun can be in a simple way, wirelessly, via wi-fi network programmed, configured, or modified and the status of I/O can be read. |
Ethernet microSD |
This version has the network Ethernet controller with RJ45 connector and a reader for memory cards microSD. |
Arduino Shield |
The distribution of connectors allows the installation of special plates, so-calledArduino Shield. |
Digital I/O |
20 digital inputs/outputs allows, in particular, to control the LEDs, relays and reading the buttons' states. |
Efficiency current |
The maximum power load for a single output is 40 mA. |
Outputs PWM |
7 PWM outputs allow e.g. to control motors and brightness of the LEDs. |
Analog inputs |
12 zones built-in digital-analog converter with a resolution of 10-bit, support, in particular, sensors with analog output. |
Serial communication |
The device supports popular communication interfaces, including UART, I2C and SPI, and USB. |
Special functions | Some of the pins have special functions that a brief description is available inour guide. |
Socket USB A |
Board has a built-in USB controller, outputted on USB computer socket, type A. |
Memory built-in |
The Atmega32u4 system has the signal clock frequency of 16 MHz and has 32 KB Flash memory 1 KB EEPROM, 2.5 KB of RAM SRAM. |
Supply 5 V microUSB |
To power the Arduino, you can usea power sourcewith a voltage of 5 V with a microUSB connector. |
Supply USB port |
The tile can be powered from a computer via microUSB cable, bearing in mind that the maximum power load for the USB port is 500 mA. Arduino has a system that protects the socket from short-circuit and the flow of too high current. |
Connector ICSP |
The module has ICSP I/O for connecting an externalAVR programmer. |
Pin IOREF |
The IOREF Pin provides direct access to the voltage with which output I/O work. |
Built-in led |
The connected led on pin 13 allows debugging simple programs. |
Output 3.3 V |
Built-in voltage regulator provides power to external devices with the voltage of 3.3 V with current consumption of 50 mA. |
