Product description: Grove - StarterKit v3 - IoT starter kit for Arduino
A starter kit introducing the world of IoT - Internet of Things (IoT) forArduinoboards. The set includes: light sensors, touch sensors, temperature sensors, servo, display and many others. Connecting the modules doesn't require soldering, thanks to dedicated BaseShield overlay with wires.
Grove is a system for quick and easy prototyping. It allows you to create projects without the need of soldering or using acontact board. The assembly method resembles Lego bricks. Compared to traditional electronics assembly methods, Grove significantly simplifies and shortens the process. This is the first Grove kit available in Polish language version, which allows to experiment with new projects with instructions in Polish.
The kit doesn't include Arduino Uno or other module compatible with it. If you don't have it yet, you can buy it at a discount using "Suggested accessories" above the product description.
Main features of Grove StarterKit
- Compatible with Arduino Uno
- Instruction in Polish language
- Expandable - check othersensors in the series
- Handy organizer
- Numerous examples and tutorials
- Perfect as a gift
- No soldering required
The main advantage of the Grove system is the unification of connectors. In practice, this means that if the number of modules in the set is not enough, you can always choose any other sensorfrom the wide Grove rangeand connect it to the base board usingdedicated Grove wires.
Product compatible with Arduino - Manual in Polish!
You can find completeinstructions in Polishalong with sample programs on our website.
Contents of Grove - StarterKit v3

---|---|---|
1 | Base Shield v2- Arduino frontend allowing to connect sensors using wires attached to the kit. | |
2 | Buzzer module- simple audio signal generator. | |
3 | Button module- board with tact switch and grounding resistor. Communication is digital signal 0/1. | |
4 | LED diode module(three colours included: blue, red and green) - has a built-in current limiting resistor on the diode, can be controlled by PWM signal. | |
5 | Linear potentiometer module- module with 300° range and linear change of value. The resistance is equal to 10 kΩ. | |
6 | Sound sensor module- is used to detect the ambient sound level. It has an analogue output. Microphone sensitivity at 1 kHz: 48 to 52 dB. | |
7 | Relay module- The maximum supported voltage is 250 V AC and the maximum current is 15 A. For safety purposes, we recommend operation with a voltage of up to 24 V. | |
8 | Temperature sensor module- The module measures temperature from -40°C to 125°C with an accuracy of 1.5°C. | |
9 | Touch sensor module- communication with the module is a digital 0/1 signal. sensor response time is from 60 ms to 220 ms. | |
10 | Light sensor module- The sensor measures ambient light intensity. Based on the LM358 chip. | |
11 | Micro actuator- Servo with 180° movement range. Comes with a set of pliers and mounting screws. | |
12 | RGB LCD display with backlight- screen with full colour backlight. Communicates with microcontroller via I2C interface. It has built-in English and Japanese fonts. | |
13 | 9V battery clip with jack output- Allows for battery power supply, its length is 12,6 cm. | |
14 | 10 Grove 4-pin cables- Allows you to connect the module to the Base Shield v2 board. |
We recommend other sensors and modules fromGrove series. |
