What do you need to run Odroid H2+ minicomputer?
- eMMC memory,SATA or SSD NVMe hard drive for PCI-e- a data carrier on which the operating system will be installed and where our data will be stored.
- DDR4 RAM memory- to work with a single disc computer you need DDR4 RAM memory, which should be purchased separately.
- Power supply- it will be used to power our minicomputer. The voltage that can be used to power the board is in the range from 14 V to 20 V (up to 60 W), but the manufacturer recommends a power supply with 15 V and a current capacity of 4 A.
- HDMI cable - toconnect the device to the display.
- Mouse and keyboard- basic input devices for data entry.
Single disc computer with RAM and PCIe NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD - RAM and SSD are not included, please purchase them separately.
Operating system for the Odroid H2+ minicomputer
The system recommended by the manufacturer is LinuxUbuntuversion20.04, whose installation image can be downloaded directly from the Ubuntu website, the installation guide can be found on the wiki dedicated to Odroid H2+ computer. The memory carrier of the device can be an eMMC module, a drive with a SATA connector or a NVMe drive forPCI-e.
Communication of the Odroid H2+ minicomputer
Despite their small size, single disc computers have great capabilities, one of the factors responsible for this state of affairs is the use of connectors known from classic desktop computers or laptops. The connectors are located on the Odroid H2+ board:
- four USB connectors: 2x USB 2.0 and 2x USB 3.0are one of themost popularconnectors used in electronic devices today, allowing you to connect peripheral devices such as a mouse, a keyboard or even a printer. Additionally, in case when 4 USB ports are not enough, it is possible to increase their number using external HUBs available in our offer.
- Two Ethernet sockets allowingto connect a minicomputer to a LAN with a maximum speed up to 2500 Mb/s.
- 20-pin GPIO connector- general purpose output/input connector, which can be used tooperate LEDs,buttons, motor controllers. There are also pins responsible for communication with I2C and UART interfaces.
- SATA and PCI-e connectors- for connecting HDDs or SSDs.
- Audio in/out (3.5 mm jack) and SPDIF out - toconnect audio devices.

Power supply for Odroid H2+ device
The Odroid H2+ is powered by a 5.5 x 2.1 mm DC plug. The voltage that can be used to power the board is in the range from 14 V to 20 V (up to 60 W), however, the manufacturer recommends a power supply with 15 V and a current capacity of 4 A.
The device is equipped with a heat sink.
