Product description: Arduino Robot + LCD
A driving robot created by Arduino, whose heart is placed on two motherboards, two Atmega32u4 microcontrollers - used in Leonardo version. The upper board is responsible for communication with the sensors and implementation of algorithms, the lower board controls the drive, which is two wheels connected to DC motors. The set also includes: colour, graphic LCD display, memory card and batteries with a charger.
Robot is programmed in Arduino IDE environment(free download) using built-in libraries(Robot_Control). By using sample programs the user can create:
- Robot following the black track on a light surface (line follower),
- a robot that moves to the rhythm of the music it wins,
- Remote-controlled driving platform,
- a device communicating by means of a keyboard and a graphical LCD colour display.
To connect to a computer you only needa USB cable,which is included in the package. The device, similarly to other Arduino versions, is visible in the system as COM serial port.

Power supply
The main power source is the included 4AAbatteries(sticks).The robot can also be powered from the USB port of the computer. The power supply is selected automatically. For safety reasons, the motors are disconnected when powered from the USB cable. There is a charger on the motherboard to which a 9-volt power supply (included) must be connected.

Attention! Do not use ordinary, disposable AA batteries - common sticks. They have too little current capacity for proper functioning of the robot. |
