AVR in THT casing - what is it?

AVR microcontroller in THT casing is an inexpensive piece of equipment, from which many now working professionals started their adventure with digital electronics. It is a small integrated circuit with a central unit (microprocessor) - its task is to execute the commands written in the program code contained in FLASH memory. All data and variables of this program will be located in RAM. Apart from that, the microcontroller has the so-called peripheral circuits: for example drivers, which make it possible to read input signals, such as the signal coming from the temperature sensor, and to generate output signals.

AVR in a THT housing - perfect for learning

The AVR microcontroller in a THT casing is one of the devices perfectly suited for learning digital electronics. Its low price means that if you make a mistake (for example, if you burn out the circuit by causing a short circuit due to incorrect connection), you will only suffer a small loss.
