Steinel - company history
The history of the Steinel brand can be traced back as far as 1957, when Heinrich Wolfgang Steinel began producing electronic heating elements during his studies. In 1959, the company's founder decided to fully focus on his business and expanded the range to include heating elements dedicated to hair dryers and coffee makers. The rapid growth of the brand meant that in 1978 it had to move to Herzebrock-Clarholz, located in the western part of Germany. Since 1980 Steinel has been producing hot glue guns, and in 1983 the first heat guns were introduced, which are now an extremely popular item among consumers.

Today, the Steinel brand is mainly associated with the production of motion sensors that work with outdoor lighting components. The company was the first to introduce such a solution to the commercial market. During the more than 60-year history of the brand, many extremely interesting products, characterized by above-average workmanship, were presented.
