Description
The device allows you to connect your computer with electronic modules, using the popular data transfer protocols, e.g., SPI, I2C, UART. The Bus Pirate simplifies thecommunication process with the new system, making it easy to detect errors while transmitting data, to check the correct operation of the bus, and to transmit commands. Especially useful when operating the sensors is to verify the flow of data. In addition to the abovelistedfunctions, the system also works as an analyzer of logical states (up to 1 MHz), the signal frequencygenerator and the programmer for the AVR microcontrollers.
On the PC this module is installed as a virtual COM port, so you can control it using any terminal. Built-in bootlader allows you to update the firmware. Key elements of the board are: CPU control PIC24FJ64 and converter USB-UART FT232RL. The mini-USB port allows you to connect the system to the computer using a cable. Electronic modules connect via theIDC connectoror viawires. The use of the Bus Pirate is facilited by the manualandthe product forum.
