Description
AS5601 is an easy to program, magnetic, rotary position sensor. It contains the quadrature output (A/B) as in the traditional rotation coders allowing to program to work with resolution from 8 to 2048 positions, as well as 12-bit digital output that is communicating through an I2C interface. An additional PUSH output indicates the rapid changes in air break between the sensor and the magnet so that we can create touchless buttons.
