Description
A small 7-segment display in a scrolling housing, powered at 1.6 - 2.0 V per segment. It consumes approx. 80 mA of current, emits 655 nm of light. The system is ideal for small devices where feedback in the form of displayed numbers and some letters is required. The spacing between the outputs is 2.54 mm, which allows the chip to be plugged into a contact plate.

Connection
The HP QDSP-6064 display is a common cathode. This means that the individual segments are controlled by the positive pole (+), the mass is common. In order to connect the appropriate power supply to the display, a resistor must be selected. You can usean on-line LED calculator, giving the following parameters: power supply voltage at your disposal, segment operating voltage (1.6 - 2 V) and segment operating current (5 mA).
A detailed description of the connection can be found in thedocumentation anduser guide.
The first pin is marked with a dot on the back of the case.
